This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Must have for any Mark III 22/45
Installed this and the slingshot upgrade to make my Mark III 22/45 function the same as my Mark II. Really eases the field strip and reassembly process. Which by the way, if you're having trouble with the Ruger process, the key to reassembly is to pull the trigger... On the instructional video, I wish there was a better view of how the sear re-assembles into the safety/slide lock. So take a good look at how this is assembled before disassembling the lower. In my case, I used my Mark II as a guide, but if you don't have a second Ruger on hand, it helps to memorize the starting position of the sear & safety/slide lock. Hint: also set the safety to SAFE.

Mag Bushing
This item is made well and functions as described. I didn't notice any trigger feel or improvement, but as far as the mag release and mag safety issues everything works great!!

Watched the video a couple of times, and installed the bushing without a hiccup.....Works perfect....Love being able to drop and replace a mag in no time.....If you don't like it as well, I would be shocked....

Tandemcross Mark III magazine disconnect bushing
This was an excellent addition to my Ruger Mark III Hunter, and my Mark III Target. The directions make it easy to install and it functions flawlessly. The magazines which would often bind and be difficult to remove, now drop free instantly. A great must have product.

Great fix
Solves the most irritating trait of the MKIII Rugers.. Easy to install (easier to install than the disassembly/reassembly process for a MK Ruger pistol :) ) If you can manage the normal takedown this should be a piece of cake.

Great Product
These should be part of all Ruger Mark III / 22/45's. Easy to install. Only took about 30 mins on a brand new never fired 22/45 lite. Great How to video from Tandemkross via youtube. Well worth the price. I have and will recommend to all.

Ordered and quickly received 2 of these bushings for each of the Ruger MK III's we own. Installation was straightforward and simple with the included instructions. Bushings a beautiful fit with the hammer and hammer pin. A friend installed a similar bushing from another source, which did not fit well, and recommended yours. Both of our pistols are performing perfectly in the bullseye leagues in which we participate.
