This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Works as advertised
Lightened and smoothed the trigger pull slightly.. Installation for me was a pain, but that is not Tandemkross's fault, its just because I am a ham fisted idiot.. All in All great product

Best mod for the 22/45 by far. Mags drop free and easy almost as fast as you can get the next one ready to feed.

The difference between being disappointed in a gun purchase and loving it.
Ordered my MkIII 22/45 online and when it came to my local FFL my immediate impression was not good. Trigger was gritty. I had to pry the mags out of the grip after pressing the release. I had a terrible feeling I had messed up buying this gun online. Then I read about the magazine disconnect issues and found the Tandemkross bushing. I couldn't order it fast enough. Installation was a breeze after watching the online video. It makes a world of difference. Mags drop out easily (they even insert easier). Trigger pull, although still a bit stiff with the factory hammer/sear, is MUCH smoother. Thanks to TK, I will enjoy shooting my 22/45 much more.

Fantastic product !
Installed this along with the LCI Insert. As long as I had the action tore down I removed and polished the sear surfaces with 800 grit emery to remove factory machining marks. Trigger started at 4# 13oz, after polish and install breaks clean at 3# 3oz. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED product, PERFECT fit the first time through.

Perfect part... I used it in conjunction with a Volquartsen sear on a Mark III 22/45 and it's like having a different pistol. This is a must have part for both functional operation and takedown convenience. The TK video was also very helpful with installation.
