This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

I installed the bushing in my Ruger Mark III 22/45 Lite and shot 300 rounds at the range. Worked flawlessly! The magazine ejected freely every time! You cannot go wrong with the Tandem Kross bushing. High quality finish and easy to install.

Must have for Mkiii
First off the machining on this part is superb. I liked my Mk iii, but hated having to grab a magazine and yank it out of my pistol, not to mention having to slap magazines in to get them to seat. This small part transformed my Mk iii into a pure joy to shoot. Magazines now fly out of my pistol, even inverted. No need to hunt for a Mk ii, just add this part to your Mk iii and enjoy.

This is my 2nd hammer bushing, I bought my 1st from a person making them at home. The Tandemkross is super high quality, VERY FAST shipping and really turns the 22/45 LITE into a much better firearm. This simple addition, along with the removal of the magazine disconnect effects how the firearm operates. It makes the trigger smoother and easier, along with freeing up the guns action. I will buy another for sure.

I was having trouble with mags (NOT!)dropping free, but after installing this (10 minutes) they drop free every time. Perfect! No tools required if you can get your hands on one of your wife's bobby pins.
