This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Great product
Works precisely as advertised. Magazines release freely now. Had a bit of a bug with reinstalling (my fault). The large hammer block was in the wrong position and I jammed the locking pin in the wrong place. Took it to a gunsmith. He pulled the trigger and sharply banged the front of the barrel and the locking pin came right out. Works smooth as silk now.

EXCELLENT company and products. Super fast shipping-I received these parts the day after I ordered them! The hammer bushing and LCI insert were machined well and installed easily.I had both installed in about 15 minutes. Now my magazines fly out and field strip/cleaning is much easier. I purchased a hammer bushings for each of my Ruger MK3. Had accidently dropped my magazine detent without knowing on my second pistol. Tandemkross was able to diagnose the safety problem correctly quickly just by hearing my issue. Shows you they really know the gun. It was great that they were willing to help me, even though it wasn't their problem. Great products and even greater customer service.

An Amazing Little Piece of Metal
The best $10 I've spent in a long time. For the price of a fancy coffee, the hammer bushing fixed two of my biggest complaints about an otherwise great pistol. My magazines now drop free AND no more useless magazine disconnect safety. An absolute must for any MKIII. This was also my first time disassembling my 22/45, and the included instructions were much appreciated and made the install a snap.

Amazingly Easy
I installed the both new hammer bushing and the Kanewolf Slingshot kit in less than 10 minutes after my new 22/45 lite was field stripped. I was amazed at how easy it went together using the written instructions that came with the parts. The pistol worked as advertised and was so much more functional. The trigger even works better. BTW, I have not found the 22/45 MK III Lite to be any more difficult to strip and reassemble than my 1911s.

Just installed the hammer bushing and the new extractor in my Hunter MK 111.Before I made the switch out the gun would not fire bulk ammo, constant FTF's. Went to the range and sent appx. 200 rounds downrange and not a hickup.This is the best thing I could have done. The trigger pull is better as well. Shipping even to Canada was good and received the parcel sooner than expected. The staff at Tandemkross is first rate. Thanks again for the great products and service. The firing pin is next on the list. Keep up the great work!!
