This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Was not impressed by this product. Sloppy fit causing creep in my trigger. Usable but that's about it.

The fit and finish is superb. The gun seems to have a little smoother trigger pull, not to mention eliminating the stupid magazine disconnect.

Tandemkross magazine disconnect bushing
This bushing did exactly what it was advertised that it would do. And now the trigger on my Ruger is really great. Love the way the mags drop free now rather than having to pull them free manually. Great product and can't beat the price.

Not difficult to install & works perfectly
The detailed video instructions made installing the hammer bushing a snap. Works exactly as advertised, mags drop out cleanly now, unlike how the 22/45 comes from the factory. Another plus, very fast shipping! Thanks guys!

Great product
Easy to install, this is the best bang for the buck on this pistol. Removes most of the unwanted "features" of the Mark III vs Mark II. Well worth your time and money.

Amazing
Huge improvement. Watch the video and be sure not to pull the pin too far out. Magazine now drops free, can fire without a magazine, and reassembling the gun is much easier. Trigger is smoother with a more defined reset. It does feel like it somehow added a half pound to the trigger pull, but that could all be in my head and I adjusted after 15 rounds. Another must buy.

This little item does exactly what it is supposed to. I love how the magazines fly out, but even more than that this little jewel makes it a pleasure to disassemble my 22/45 for cleaning. Before the bushing it was a miserable gun to take apart and even more miserable to re-assemble...IT STAYED IN THE SAFE. Now I love it and have ordered more from TK to improve it even more. THANX TK!!

Must-have drop-in part!
