This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

All the upgrade products offered by Tandemkross absolutely improve the Ruger MKIII. But the Tandemkross Victory trigger will no work in a Ruger MKIII. Everything else is 110%.....

Great product - had a bit of trouble installing it and then getting the main spring housing back in. But once that was achieved this small product works as advertised.

Hammer Bushing
Just got the Tandemkross hammer bushing installed in my Mark III. Thanks to excellent video and instructions, it wasn't difficult at all. No more Mag in, Mag out, hold this way and that way to take down for cleaning. So much easier, and mags drop out as they should. Not faulting Ruger. Too many Government regulations for California and Mass. Great gun, now it's better.

Anoince with the Mk III
Used this bushing to eliminate the magazine disconnect safety on my Mk. III and Mk. III 22/45 pistols and it made the take down a lot easier and faster also made magazine removal a lot more pleasant. I have an extra one on hand in case i pick up another Mk. III pistol.

Perfect Product!!!
I installed this on my Mark III Target piston that has always had an issue with the mags sticking and needing to be pulled out. With this installed not only is assembly of the gun much easier without that goofy spring but the mags actually "pop" out when the button is pressed like a normal handgun now. Thank you for a perfect product!
