This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

works wonderful , no more fiddling with the magazine, just be very careful installing it, I lost the safety and had a hell of a time getting it back in LOL

Great product, makes the III so much easier to take down and put together. I was always forgetting to remove/add magazine and getting annoyed. This makes the gun easy to clean. Easy to install, quality product.

Hammer Bushing
I installed a Tandemkross steel hammer bushing on my Ruger Mark III 22/45 pistol. My magazines were difficult to load and unload in the pistol. Jake's video instructions were excellent. He touched all the points and the details were spot on. Now my pistol functions better. Thank you Tandemkross!

mk3 hammer bushing
This bushing is beautifully machined, is a perfect fit, converting the pistol to drop free mag is great, trigger pull is slightly better, it is very easy to install, and being able to fire with out the mag in, a pleasure! with a cost of only $10.00 a no brainer.

The hammer bushing is a no brainer! Best upgrade for the 22/45 by far. Super easy to change yourself and magazines will drop free and the gun can be fired without the magazine in the gun.

You need this Mod
As far as difficulty of install, I would rate this as intermediate. Definitely worth the time though. Watch the videos on youtube and go slow. It appears that the install is slightly different for the regular MRK pistol and the 22/45 version so watch the appropriate one. Mag now almost launches out of the magwell. Very smooth. Haven't had it to the range yet so cant attest to the better trigger pull but most of the other reviews state how much better it is. Cant wait to shoot it. I installed this along with the LCI also from Tanndomcross.
