This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Drop in Steel hammer bushing for Ruger 22/45 MNKIII, just follow the instructions and it fits in perfectly and your mag will drop as it should, Ruger should have done this from the get go so kudos to Tandemkross for solving this with a simple fix.

Bushing is well made and has a great finish. I have found all Tandemkross items to be very well made. I would highly recommend this product along with any items Tandemkross sells. The bushing is a great add on to any Ruger MK III.

Magazine disconnect bushing
Purchased the Tandemkross magazine disconnect bushing as recommended by SRT Arms for my integrally suppressed Mark III. Piece fits and functions exactly as described, cured an intermittent failure feed and now allows for repeated cycling of action with dry fire. The installation video allowed me to install myself in two-beers time!

After installing the Sling Shot and Bushing, which was fairly easy to install. It was totally a different pistol. I couldn't believe the difference it made. It is a different pistol and a better one. Couldn't be happier.
