Features a high-durometer elastomer insert which Increases durability and reliability of firearm by more-gradually absorbing impact force of reciprocating bolt assembly; eliminating the metal-to-metal contact between the bolt and the receiver pin and eliminates vibration cause by the metal-to-metal contact. 
 
The TANDEMKROSS Shock Block Bolt Buffer reduces impact stress on the receiver, made for high tolerances, high impact resistance, superior load bearing properties.

    This is a lot nicer than the stock unit. Easy to install. Swap the retaining clip at the same time.

    The Shock Blocker will extend the functional life of my PC 9 receiver. I have purchased and installed every Ruger improvement on my Rimfires and now this Center Fire.

    I'm going to give this product five stars. It is certainly an upgrade over the the factory bolt buffer. I didn't notice a reduction in felt recoil, when paired with the red recoil spring, like many reviews claim. Despite that, It is certainly a quality replacement part and it looks cool too (not that it matters).

    Does a much better job than the factory original. No more "clunk" when the bolt comes back. Only problem- TandemKross should provide a retainer clip with the buffer. It pops-out and can get lost very easily. That's why the four star rating.

    Since I will be using +P 124g anmo in my Ruger PC Carbine, I wanted to get this shock buffer to protect the back of my receiver from the extra recoil. This buffer is much more robust than the one that cane with my carbine. Just what I needed!
