    Was having problems with chambering rounds. No more problems since I installed the Sentinel captured spring rod on my SR22

    When I purchased my new ruger sr22, the gun would jam or misfire frequently even with high velocity ammunition. After I swapped the 2piece plastic stock spring for the one piece spring rod, I had no more misfires even with low velocity rounds. Thank You TK TANDEMKROSS.

    The Sentinel definitely improves the operating of the SR22. It is strong and sturdy, extremely well made. Highly recommended upgrade for your SR22.

    improved performance with captured spring guide rod

    Bought my SR22 used. needed cleaning up. at first ejected casings were flying all over the place and ricocheting off the walls and dividers for the shooting stations. Saw some reviews for the Guide Rod and bought/installed one (it has a 4.5 pound spring compared to Ruger's 4 pound spring). I've noted the action/slide is much smoother, the ejected casings are coming out more reliably and not ricocheting like they were. Nice small handgun great for teaching/practicing basic handgun safety and pincipals of shooting and the TK's guide roc makes it so much beter in performance.

    I like this! Although I'm sure Ruger did their homework with the factory plastic rod, this gives me much more confidence in long term durability. It's made well and fits perfectly. Seems to give the little gun a bit more solid lockup, and it doesn't rattle at all.

    Nice, noticeable difference once this was installed. Stiffer, tighter slide action. Would recommend for any SR22
