    VERY NICE, CYCLES WELL GOING TO TRY HYPER AMMO NEXT. TOO SEE IF IT CAN HANDLE THE RECOIL AS WELL NORMAL AMMO.

    Works great and I must say I do like the looks of it its a must try if you are having a failure to feed or eject problem but I do find my sr22 likes the cci and federal ammo the best

    Just got back from the range. Shot some rounds with the Ruger SR22 supplied spring/rod and then installed the Sentinel Captured Spring rod. Gun felt a little more stable cycling through rounds. Also nice to have one piece part when installing. The SR22 still had trouble with the Federal (blue box) 40g ammo (FTL) but all other types worked great. Will make sure to use Federal ammo in my rifle. Prompt delivery as it arrived in 2 days. Great company to do business with.

    Better than the original

    I ordered this captured spring rod and was finally able to take it to the range to test it out and properly sight in my SR-22. There is definitely a better fit between the slide and frame. Other than the two FTF's (ammo related) my pistol shot great and even better that it's sighted in!! Prior to purchasing this item, I was considering selling my SR-22, now I'm keeping it!!

    Do you need Sebntial captured spring rod ?

    I ordered it because I wanted one. It arrived, was installed and went shooting. I discovered I really "needed" it !!! My SR 22 shot fine. Takedown/assembly were a bit fiddly, sometimes a lot fiddly. I dropped the guide in, I swear the tiniest push and the slide fell into place, released forward and was locked without thinking at all, Beautiful ! It indeed makes a good gun better, buy one, all these reviews cannot be wrong ! they are not !
