    I was frequently breaking the plastic takedown lever when shooting suppressed however this guide rod & spring had the right amount of tension that I no longer have the breakage problem.

    PURCHASED FOR MY SR22. LOOKS BETTER THAN STOCK RECOIL SPRING ROD AS I LIKE THE STAINLESS STEEL LOOK ON THE PISTOL. TESTED AT THE RANGE WITH SEVERAL BRANDS OF AMMO, INCLUDING STINGERS. WORK GREAT, NO PROBLEMS. HIGHLY RECOMMENED FOR ALL SR22 OWNERS!!

    We ordered this as an upgrade to the Ruger SR 22 that I have. It is well worth it! It is sturdy and the action of the gun is smoother than the previous factory install.

    Does this make a difference to shooting? Not sure....but where this REALLY stands out is the reassemble after breaking the SR-22 down for cleaning. This makes matching the slide to frame MUCH easier - for that alone I'd recommend this.
