Perfect Solution
After having cycle problems with my SR22, I purchased the spring rod. Took only a few minutes to install. Went to the range and shot about 200 rounds of both hp and round nose 36 and 40 gr ammo. Not one problem. A simple solution for an annoying problem.

Sr22
This product does not fit the ruger sr22 with the 4.5" barrel .I tried 2 of them. First was told the rod was out of tolerance. Then that my gun was out of tolerance .I doubt it was the gun since it worked fine with the original part. The slide actually was loose to the point it rattled with the captured spring rod .I was afraid to shoot it this way. I was able to send them back for a refund.

Performs as advertised!!!
Easily installed on my Ruger SR22. Much better than factory rod. Cycled flawlessly with CCI, Winchester, Federal and Remington ammo. Highly recommended!!!

Grand Fubaugh
The captured spring rod was an exact fit in my SR22 pistol. It smoothed overall operation and seemed to lighten the slide action. I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend it.

Recoil spring rod
It is a vary good add on. Makes the weapon more stable and smoother.

Mr.
Pro: Looks great. Con: Several FTF, at least one every mag. I have the 4.5 inch barrel SR22. No issues with factory spring/guide, but almost every magazine had a FTF with the Tandemkross. I switched back at the range, and the FTFs were gone. Reading several reviews, it seems this is common for the 4.5 SR22.

Great Product!!!
Great quality product. Easy to install. While I never had any issues with the factory plastic guide rod I just like the idea of a steel one with a captured spring.
