    Sentinel guide rod

Not a lot of aftermarket parts have agreed with my Victory, the Sentinel guide rod does however. Sometimes my pistol would fail to go fully into battery, this part curred it.

This is what SW should have made for the stock gun. Captured spring, easy to install and remove. Thanks to TK I now have one.

    Sentenal Spring

Just got mine today in the mail, put it in my pistol right away, what a great addition tell the gun. I would highly recommend this over the factory guide rod. No more searching the floor trying to find the guide rod or the spring after it pops out of the bolt.

    "Sentinel" review

I bought the Sentinel, captured spring guide rod" , to make it quicker and easier to take apart and clean. The Sentinel accomplishes that! And, it shot perfectly at the range. There were no misfeeds, stove pipes, etc. with this new spring. Love it.

This is one awesome replacement piece. I added these to all three of my Victory's. No more bending springs. No more episodes of "In Search of the Missing Spring"! No more nearly taking out one of our cats!! Just buy this.

    Shooter

"Parts is parts!" The captured recoil spring & guide are great for reassembly, especially in the field. As a competitive shooter I want a clear head when I hit the range, be it for practice or a match. Having quality parts in the gun and spare parts readily available in the case takes some pressure off. I keep spares of everything in my case and my next order I'll order a spare captured r.s. & r.s. guide. Only problem with ordering just one is that when another competitor sees it they want it then I have to order another. I don;t know it's there when I'm shooting and that's good, but during reassembly it's great--makes the launched parts easier to find! Alex Ragulsky

    NICE

Using the factory spring on the guide rod is ok. Ever have a tough time putting it back in after a thorough cleaning of your firearm? I've gone through seven springs in 2 years with this pistol. having the spring and guide rod integrally aligned as such, makes all the difference in the world. I no longer have to carry multiple springs in my comp/range bags anymore.
