Charging Ring
Makes it easy to rack the slide. Should be standard issue from Browning since the slide like the S&W Victory doesn't have "ears like Ruger Mark series". Adds no weight to the gun & very easy to install.

Terrific Accessory, but be careful...
Every positive thing that everyone else claims about the Halo Charging Ring is absolutely true. I'm only here to offer a tip about mounting the charging ring. First, take note that the grooves on the Buck Mark's slide where the ring is to mount are angled slightly forward. Later, this is important! Okay, so you mount the charging ring and feel that the screws are adequately tight, it's time to go to the range and give your pistol a try. After shooting 50 to 100 rounds, it's time to check the position of the Halo. The recoil from every shot may cause the ring to move out of position ever so slightly and as the breach slams back for the next shot, it's possible for the ring to rise slightly on the angled slots. If this happens, it may cause the ring to strike against the rear of the scope mount which in turn will throw off you scope or red dot reflex sight. This has happened to me where the shots from the first and second magazine were right on target but then the shots started opening up. After about 50 rounds, I noticed that my reflex sight was coming loose but couldn't explain it especially because the sight on the Buck Mark is stationary; not moving with the slide like on my other pistols. I'd re-tighten the sight, shoot some more and same thing. I didn't want to use lock-tight on the mount because I'd eventually have to remove it to change the battery. However, when cleaning the gun, I noticed that the ring had risen ever so slightly and because the groves on the slide are angled forward, the ring had been striking the back of the scope mount with every shot jarring my sight loose. I had to readjust the charging ring but didn't want to over tighten the screws on the aluminum ring. I'll keep an eye on this in the future.... just thought I'd pass this tip along.

Halo
Although this device is designed for a Browning BuckMark, I purchased it for my S&W Model 41 because a previous customer successfully modified it to fit their Model 41. It required a little Dremel tool work to allow the Halo wings to grip the slide cutouts. Not really difficult to do and worked out VERY well. The other customer sent TandemCross photos, which were helpful.

Halo
This Halo is a great addition to my Browning Buck Mark. It make pulling the bolt so much easier and comfortable. I'm particularly pleased that it relieves the stress on my 73 year old fingers.

This makes charging much easier when using an optic. Nice addition to my Buckmark and my RugerMark IV 22/45 Lite.
