GearBox Installation Instructions for the Browning Buck Mark
At a glance:
- Upgraded sear spring lowers trigger pull weight by .5lbs or more!*
- Installation frame houses spring for easy installation and consistent sear engagement
- No need to experiment with DIY spring fixes - one simple drop-in replacement!
The Browning Buck Mark has a great trigger right out of the box. But if you’re like many Browning Buck Mark owners, you’ve likely researched ways to lower the gun’s trigger pull weight and adjust the feel even further.
There are many DIY solutions out there, including the well-known “Heggis Flip” or Buck Mark sear spring flip. But these solutions can be complicated to perform, provide inconsistent results and can cause potentially dangerous issues with the fire control system.
Put an end to DIY fixes with the new GearBox for Browning Buck Mark from TANDEMKROSS! The GearBox is a simple, drop-in replacement for the factory Buck Mark sear spring that makes installation easier and lightens the trigger pull weight.
The GearBox comes complete with a redesigned torsion spring housed in a polymer installation frame. The frame captures the spring for easy installation and then, once installed, works as a guide for the spring, ensuring proper alignment and consistent engagement with the sear.
Simplify your trigger upgrades and install the TANDEMKROSS GearBox today. Pair with a Browning Buck Mark “Victory” Trigger for ultimate performance!
*Individual trigger pull weight results may vary.
*Fits all Buck Mark models including the Buck Mark Rifle

As advertised
The ad says it all. The gearbox is easy to install and drops the trigger pull by approximately 1 pound. I have tried the reverse sear spring mod and experienced the resulting trigger problems. Had to reinstall the sear spring which was a very difficult process. The gearbox takes all the difficulty out of changing that spring. A great product. Highly recommend it for the Buckmark.

Tandemkross Gearbox
Leave it to the guys at Tandemkross to come up with the most creative ideas and technology to make your plinker better. Although the trigger pull weight on my Browning Buckmark after 15,000+ rounds was already at an acceptable, the Gearbox dropped it even further to competition level ease. This is really a great little addition to my BB!!

5-Stars
Thanks TK. The Gearbox breathes new life into my old Buck Mark. Forget the hassle of the old "Heggis Spring Flip." The Gearbox design concept keeps the spring captive until installation is complete and spring is ready to be released. Installation is quick, but pay close attention to the video. The front leg of the spring appears to have been lengthened. Do not release the spring until after the Gearbox is held in place by tapping-in the roll pin. Quick, easy, hassle-free installation. Awesome results...

Superb!
I just installed the “Gearbox” in my Browning BuckMark UDX Plus. I had already installed the Victory trigger, and it took the pull to 2.5lbs. Installing the Gearbox dropped my trigger pull to 1.75lbs. Absolutely awesome. I now have 5 .22lr pistols decked out with Tandemkross and Volquartsen parts, and they are awesome. I am continually amazed at TK’s innovations. Try this item. You won’t regret it. It installs as easily as the video shows.

Mr.
I installed the Victory Trigger previously and just added the GearBox to my 2017 Buck Mark Contour. With this combination, I'm getting a trigger pull of 2.8#! The install is easy, just watch the video make sure the GearBox is seated properly.

Mr
The gearbox works exactly as advertised. It only took 5 minutes to install and it dropped the trigger weight by at least half. This with the Tandemkross race kit and my Buckmark is a bullseye machine.

I received the unit in record time - 2 days. My installation was not as quick as Bill's. The box did not "drop in" as easily as shown on the video - I had to give it a few taps to get it to seat. Since I was sure the spring snapped into place (I heard it and could see the spring in place), I skipped the last step of removing the grip, disconnector etc. The gear box reduced my pull weight by about 1 lbs. I'm very happy with this product along with the other Tandemkross product I've install in this gun - titanium firing pin and eagle talon extractor. I had Striplin Custom Gun Works install their charging handle. I'm considering the victory trigger. I use the gun in rimfire and steel challenge matches.
