The product includes a flat washer in addition to an o-ring. For firearm models that utilize a thread adapter (ie: TX22, P22, SR22) or models with a thin-profile barrel, TANDEMKROSS recommends installing the flat washer, o-ring, and then compensator in that order. For fixed-barrel firearms with a barrel diameter greater than .800", the flat washer is typically not needed.

Compensator much louder
I found that the compensator does not screw on flush along with cutouts aligned properly. To align the openings with the barrel there is still a quarter turn on the threads available. Also noticed that the compensator amplify's the shot great. I find myself definitely having to wear ear protection with the compensator on the gun.

I got this only because my son insisted that he wanted it, so I gave in and got it. Very nice compensator. Now we never lose sight of the target. The barrel barely raises at all after installing it.

Excellent Quality!
This is truly an amazing piece of workmanship. It is very debatable as to if there is any improvement to be had be adding a compensator to a 22LR. But that's for each to decide for themselves. If you do decide that one is of use to you than you will find it difficult to find anything better than this device, and impossible to find one at a better price. The quality for the price on this one is unbeatable. It sets the standard for value.
