The product includes a flat washer in addition to an o-ring. For firearm models that utilize a thread adapter (ie: TX22, P22, SR22) or models with a thin-profile barrel, TANDEMKROSS recommends installing the flat washer, o-ring, and then compensator in that order. For fixed-barrel firearms with a barrel diameter greater than .800", the flat washer is typically not needed.

Very well made piece of eqipment. Works well too, have on a 22/45 lite, and before it would have a 4" flash coming out the business end, the game changer, well it changed the game. Took care of flash and flip. TK is a good american company all around from cs to shipping speed. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

This compensator is great. Just like everything else I've purchased from TK. I tried it on my MK3 Lite, then put it on my P22. Both pistols turned into "point and press" machines. I would highly recommend.

It's a 22 so not sure it really lessened the recoil or barrel rise, but I really like the way it looks for sure.

Game Changer For 10/22
I bought the Game Changer for my 10/22. This rifle has a sporter weight threaded barrel and the problem was this barrel is significantly smaller in diameter at the muzzle than the compensator. Therefore, the supplied O-ring that is compressed when the compensator is tightened in place is pushed over the end of the muzzle instead of being trapped between the compensator and the muzzle. So, "clocking" (orienting) the compensator is hit and miss., usually miss. My fix was to buy a "crush washer" of the type used for installing muzzle devices on AR-15 and similar 1/2"-28 threaded barrels. I then sanded down the crush washer face until the compensator tightened in precisely the right orientation. Since the compensator is aluminum it can't be forcibly torqued into the right position the way a steel device can be so I had to customize the crush washer. Works perfectly.

Simple Yet Effective
I wasn't in the market for a compensator when I purchased the Game Changer as all I needed was to replace a missing thread protector but based on the reviews and nominal cost difference I gave this a try. I will say that even on a .22lr a compensator is beneficial and the Game Changer from TK is as simple to install as it looks and has helped me to produce more accurate follow up shots due to the porting and the added weight out front to balance out the weight. It may not be a necessity for everyone but it is cheap insurance to help your accuracy and precision.

Outstanding product for a very competitive price. It is lightweight but does everything it's supposed to do. I have them in my 22/45 and in my 10/22 take down rifle.
