The product includes a flat washer in addition to an o-ring. For firearm models that utilize a thread adapter (ie: TX22, P22, SR22) or models with a thin-profile barrel, TANDEMKROSS recommends installing the flat washer, o-ring, and then compensator in that order. For fixed-barrel firearms with a barrel diameter greater than .800", the flat washer is typically not needed.

Bought the Compensator not that it was going to doing a lot to enhance the performance of my pistol..it's a 22...but it makes my pistol cooler AND cooler is better.

The only thing I would change is that I prefer a little more muzzle weight but overall this is a game changer especially with the new mkiv tactical versions. You can’t beat the price and tandemkross is now offering a stainless version.
