The product includes a flat washer in addition to an o-ring. For firearm models that utilize a thread adapter (ie: TX22, P22, SR22) or models with a thin-profile barrel, TANDEMKROSS recommends installing the flat washer, o-ring, and then compensator in that order. For fixed-barrel firearms with a barrel diameter greater than .800", the flat washer is typically not needed.

Finally got a chance to shoot my 22 45 with the new compensator on it. Work flawlessly as I expected. My granddaughter Madeline, we'll be shooting this gun in steel challenge next weekend. The Ruger 22/45 Lite as a lot faster for her to maneuver than the standard 22 45, and with a titanium firing pin another various and Sundry modifications, she is getting it. Speed has increased and times really dropped. Thanks Tandemkross

I’ve got two 22lr pistols one of which I placed my TK compensator on. I wanted to compare with and without and definitely noticed the difference between the two. The TK compensator is nice looking, quality built and functional. I’ll be ordering another one soon.

Good, But.......
Haven't done any testing with this product but it sure looks COOL on my SW Victory and my Ruger Mark IV Tactical. My issue is, that after watching a company promotion booth video and reading the Q&A for this product is says to clean by using Slip2000 for cleaning. I ordered this product thinking it would be just what the doctor ordered. When I get the bottle, it has a red label on the back stating, "WARNING: Do not use Carbon Killer on outside of your gun. It can damage and remove finishes." With the compensator off of the gun I see no way of cleaning it and assuring not to get any on the outside finish. I think I just wasted my money on a company recommendation. Please advise.
