The product includes a flat washer in addition to an o-ring. For firearm models that utilize a thread adapter (ie: TX22, P22, SR22) or models with a thin-profile barrel, TANDEMKROSS recommends installing the flat washer, o-ring, and then compensator in that order. For fixed-barrel firearms with a barrel diameter greater than .800", the flat washer is typically not needed.

Game Changer
Definitely a worthwhile purchase for my 22/45 Lite. Fits perfectly and works great, unfortunately it was not cleaned often enough and the buildup became an issue so I purchased a second one. Keep it clean and you won't have a problem. Also would like to thank TK for sponsoring the PA steel league!

S&W M&P 15-22 needs a spacer
Although the site does not mention this, the S&W M&P 15-22 barrel (at least the non-Performance Center one) has a threaded portion 0.625 inches (5/8") long. Most 22lr muzzle devices assume a 0.400 inch threaded portion. A spacer is necessary, such as one from Gemtech or Silencerco.

Doesn't do much to tame recoil BUT I bought this for looks it make the pistol look tuff ,i just shoot for fun but if I wanted to speed shoot I would have bought the PRO it is heavier to get you back on target fast.
