The product includes a flat washer in addition to an o-ring. For firearm models that utilize a thread adapter (ie: TX22, P22, SR22) or models with a thin-profile barrel, TANDEMKROSS recommends installing the flat washer, o-ring, and then compensator in that order. For fixed-barrel firearms with a barrel diameter greater than .800", the flat washer is typically not needed.

Game Changer Compensator
This Game Changer Compensator is very nice. It adds a little weight to the end of the barrel and helps balance the S&W Victory in my hand. I also have the Volquartsen Forward Blow compensator but I like the Game Changer better. It is easier to clean and the red color really pops. I received great customer service from Tandemkross after sending an email to Kevin Miller one of the TK Service Pros. He sent me free of charge a shim kit that allows the compensator to line up perfectly as it was designed to do. Thanks Kevin, and thanks Tandemkross!

Compensator
Really didn't think it would matter on a .22 but gotta say it does make a difference. To me anyway.And it looks very cool. Great customer service. My 1st order was lost and they replaced the comp with no problems

Game Changer, Red
I mounted this on my Ruger 22-45 lite. The co;or match to the gun is perfect and it works as it is supposed to, most of the muzzle flip is now gone. The only thing I can find that puzzled me is when I cleaned it in my ultrasonic cleaner, water and detergent, after the 3 minute cycle was over not only did the carbon build up disappear, the red finish was completely gone. Be careful what you clean it in. Otherwise it works as advertised and the machining quality is excellent.

TK04N0005BLK1 "Game Changer"
Bought this muzzle brake/compensator for my Browning Buckmark target pistol. It significantly reduces the bounce when shooting. it fit's the gun well although I chose to use a crush washer rather than the O-ring. I felt it was a more permanent solution. Would buy it again being Alum it reduces the weight of the end of the gun barrel over a steel compensator.

this is a nice addition to any firearm. it definitely looks sharp. whenever i clean my firearms i coat the inside of my compensators with ballistol. so far after over 1000 rounds through each i see no real carbon buildup. i saw some carbon in a few places that popped right off with a quick poke of a gun cleaning pick. tandemkross products have really improved the operation and looks of my .22 collection.
