The TANDEMKROSS Fire Starter Titanium Firing Pin for Ruger® Mark™ Series is a drop in replacement for the factory firing pin. A titanium firing pin is lighter and moves faster than a heavier steel pin. This reduces lock time and allows the gun to fire faster. The lighter titanium pin is resistant to mushrooming and will provide repeatability with positive primer strikes. With less deformation of the casing due to the lighter weight of the firing pin it can also lead to better extraction. The stability of titanium over steel makes it an ideal choice of material when operating in extreme heat or cold conditions.

Fire starter firing pin
MK III Hunter..... beautiful gun..... had so many misfires that I wanted to get rid of it. I got the new firing pin..... after installing it I had maybe 2 misfires out of 500..... definitely changed my mind.... this is almost my favorite gun to shoot now.

Fire Starter
Recently received and installed the Fire Starter firing pin in my MK III stainless target pistol. The new firing pin has virtually eliminated misfires on less expensive ammunition. A noticeably harder strike on the cartridge case. Good product, fast service. Fair trade all around as it should be.

Great Upgrade!
Another great upgrade for the Ruger 22/45. Very simple to install. Their videos and manual instructions have made everything easy so far.

First Strike
Install Tandemkross Fire Strike firing pin in my Ruger MK IV haven't fired it yet. But, I'm sure it will perform well. Based upon my experience with Tandemkross other upgrade products. Customer service is excellent.

No more light strikes!
My 22/45 had issues with light strikes with the stock firing pin. If you own one of these you know what I'm talking about. It doesn't happen often, but just often enough to ruin a stage at the range. Installed the Fire Starter, and haven't experienced any light strikes in 2000 rds. Simple replacement for an annoying problem!

Awesome product, no more light strikes. Have run a few thouaand rounds of everything from match ammo to bulk pack through it since the install. Not a miss fire yet.

This firing pin dramatically improved the function of my Mark IV competition pistol after I put an accurizing trigger in it. there are no misfires and I don't wonder anymore if my gun is going to actually fire.
