The TANDEMKROSS Fire Starter Titanium Firing Pin for Ruger® Mark™ Series is a drop in replacement for the factory firing pin. A titanium firing pin is lighter and moves faster than a heavier steel pin. This reduces lock time and allows the gun to fire faster. The lighter titanium pin is resistant to mushrooming and will provide repeatability with positive primer strikes. With less deformation of the casing due to the lighter weight of the firing pin it can also lead to better extraction. The stability of titanium over steel makes it an ideal choice of material when operating in extreme heat or cold conditions.

Fire Starter Firing Pin
Bought 2 of these for my 22/45's, only had a couple chances to try them out, but they seem to work fine. The original firing pins weren't too worn yet but I wanted to get them changed out before I have too many problems.

RUGER 22/45 mk3 firing pin fix. Failure to fire
The old oem firing does last a long time. I was a little skeptical that titanium may not hold up as well as the oem firing pin. I didn't have anything to lose so I bought this and it fixed my light strikes 100% it was noticeably lighter too. This firing pin looks as perfect as the day I first installed it. It literally makes craters! I will safely admit Tandemkross Titanium firing pin holds true,bit is tough!

I’ve had my 22/45 MKIV for a few months. Only one light strike. Read about this problem and immediately bought this pin. I keep my fire arms spotless, and I’m being proactive on this issue. Don’t want this happening to me at the range. Excellent piece! Easy replacement. Thank you Tandomkross!

Titanium Mark II Firing Pin
Installing this firing pin made a noticeable difference in the way my Mark II operated. You can see the imprint on the .22 shell is deeper and crisp. No more light strikes. Great product. I got 32 years and 1000’s of rounds through the original and expect my grandson will be shooting this pistol 32 years from now.

Great Improvement
I have a Ruger Mark IV that I shoot in competition. I clean the gun each time I use it but still suffer misfires at the next outing. A friend told me about this firing pin so I ordered it and installed it with no problem. I fired over 100 rounds of different manufacturers ammo and experienced no misfires. Great upgrade.
