Titanium is the way to go. Lighter, stronger and hit harder. The OEM firing pin is crude and can break. This firing pin won’t break.

Nice Firing Pin So Far
I bought the firing pin as soon as I bought my Ruger Charger 10/22 I've only had it for a little while so far it's works perfectly although the stock one did too I bought this one due to the fact that was made out of superior metal that is said to last a lot longer so I will update when it finally does wear out if it does wear out. I shoot a minimum of 1000 rounds a week out of my 10/22 so I am curious to see how long this firing pin will last. So far after multiple thousands of rounds it hasn't changed geometry one bit it still looks like the day I bought it.

Get this
If you fire your 10/22 enough times you ll eventually get some soft primer strikes due to wear on the firing pin. All soft primer strikes go away with this pin

I was having troublesome and random light strike problems with my S&W Victory target pistol. After replacing the current firing pin with the titanium "Fire Starter" , I have had no light strikes (thus far).
