"Fire Starter" Firing Pin Installation Instructions for the Browning Buck Mark
At a glance:
- Made of lightweight titanium - 40% lighter weight!
- Helps reduce lock time for improved accuracy
- Non-corrosive and highly durable
- Supports Buck Marks after the model year 2000
The TANDEMKROSS “Fire Starter” Titanium Firing Pin for Browning Buck Mark is a drop-in replacement for the factory firing pin. Made from lightweight, yet durable titanium, the “Fire Starter” Firing Pin moves faster than a heavier steel pin, reducing lock time and allowing the gun to go off faster, improving accuracy.
The durable titanium pin is resistant to mushrooming and can withstand both extreme cold and hot conditions, ensuring consistent positive primer strikes. The lightweight pin also results in less deformation of the casing, which can lead to better extraction.
Pair a “Fire Starter” Firing Pin with an “Eagle’s Talon” Extractor for Browning Buck Mark for the ultimate internals upgrade to reduce fail-to-fires and fail-to-ejects.
*Fits all Post 2000 Buck Mark models including the Buck Mark Rifle
Don't forget, all TANDEMKROSS products are Made in the USA and come with a LIFETIME guarantee!

Buckmark firing pin
Exact duplicate of original, took the old out installed the new and worked perfectly.

A must
Simple to fit, the improvement is evident immediately with a very strong rim strike.

Great for Bad Ammo
I tried the Fire Starter because the factory firing pin wasn't consistently igniting cheap Remington ammo. After installing the new pin I haven't had any ignition failures. Compared to the factory pin the fire starter leaves a very deep indent in the casing and absolutely murders the rim of snap caps. If you have any failure to ignite issues with your Buckmark this is the firing pin for you.

No more light primer strikes!
This product is awesome. I was experiencing occasional light primer strikes with the factory firing pin, so I decided I would replace it with the Fire Starter pin and I’m really glad I did. No more light primer strikes and there is visual evidence that this product is superior, when comparing brass fired from the factory firing pin and the TK Fire Starter. My competition scores thank you TK!

Works
The firing pin combination with the Eagle Talon extractor seems to have solved some issues I've had. Unlike the Ruger MK IV firing pin this one looks a lot like the old Browning pin but lighter. Glad a comment mentioned which direction the angled edge should go.

Titanium firing pin
Really easy to install. Just be careful not to lose the spring.
