"Fire Starter" Firing Pin Installation Instructions for the Browning Buck Mark

At a glance:

  • Made of lightweight titanium - 40% lighter weight!
  • Helps reduce lock time for improved accuracy
  • Non-corrosive and highly durable
  • Supports Buck Marks after the model year 2000

The TANDEMKROSS “Fire Starter” Titanium Firing Pin for Browning Buck Mark is a drop-in replacement for the factory firing pin. Made from lightweight, yet durable titanium, the “Fire Starter” Firing Pin moves faster than a heavier steel pin, reducing lock time and allowing the gun to go off faster, improving accuracy.

The durable titanium pin is resistant to mushrooming and can withstand both extreme cold and hot conditions, ensuring consistent positive primer strikes. The lightweight pin also results in less deformation of the casing, which can lead to better extraction.

Pair a “Fire Starter” Firing Pin with an “Eagle’s Talon” Extractor for Browning Buck Mark for the ultimate internals upgrade to reduce fail-to-fires and fail-to-ejects.

*Fits all Post 2000 Buck Mark models including the Buck Mark Rifle

Don't forget, all TANDEMKROSS products are Made in the USA and come with a LIFETIME guarantee!

    Sharp edges

This firing pin has more surface on the striking face and is thicker in the body all the way down. It fits tighter on the spring and you can hear the spring drag on the edges of the pin. You need to take a file and just break the edges on the length of the pin so that the spring moves smoothly and won't drag when it expands. Really like this firing pin

    Yep you want this

Grab two new snap caps. Drop the hammer on one with your firing pin. Replace your firing pin with this titanium bad boy. Test with the second snap cap. Compare the two, laugh diabolically at the big improvement in the strike. Go shooting. Don't worry, be happy.

I was having light primer strikes about 10% of the time. Installed this firing pin and ran 5k rounds without one single issue

Good but could have been better. I improved it by polishing the surfaces.

As in my extractor review immediately noticeable results compared to the worn out pin I replaced. Good pricing, excellent how to video, and good quality made in U.S. material. Great company to do business with.

My buckmark was have multiple failures to fire out of every magazine. In stalled the Tandemkross firing pin and have not had a single failure to fire in several hundred rounds. Couldn’t be happier with the product!

I nstalled Fire Staarter firing pin in Buckmark, works good. I installed Fire Starter in Ruger Mark 4, original broke so replaced with titanium, that one also works great.

500 rounds after installing it I haven’t had a single failure to fire, and much of that has been crappy ammo. It just works.
