Easy upgrade!
I purchased this set because I was having some failure to fire and failure to eject on my 22/45 and the new firing pin and extractor fixed both of those issues immediately. The firing pin was super simple to install and the extractor was a bit tricky but was also pretty easy once I found the right tool to compress the extractor spring. I wish that I would've made the change sooner!

Essential kit
I had a bad stovepipe issue on my MARK 4 so i thought I'd give this a try. WOW!!! Not only did it fix my problem I can shoot crap brand 22's more reliable now.

22/45 PROBLEM SOLVED
Had issues with new to me Mark III 22/45 Lite, stove pipes, light firing pin strikes, ejection issues. I took the leap and installed TK firing pin, Eagle Talon ejector and rebound spring. Problems solved! I am a new shooter with no previous gun experience at all. TK instructions and videos walked me through the process. Pistol Pal tool also helped with removing the stock ejector. Highly recommended and as usual Tandemkross service A+.

Excellent kit
Added this to a Mk IV 22/45 before I shot it. No extraction or light strike issues so far and don't expect to have any either. Worth the $40? Absolutely!

Excellent Firing Pin and Extractor
In an unintended coincidence, I purchased some "discount bulk" .22 LR ammo right before installing the firing pin and extractor. Omg, so glad I'm slowly Tademizing all my firearms. The ammo was the next level of horrible and although there were misfeeds from questionably shaped rounds, not a single misfire or FTE from my Ruger MKIV target. My non-tandemized firearms had every type of failure imaginable but the TK parts fired true and solidly extracted the garbage casings. So I learned two lessons that day: 1 - no more cheap ammo. 2 - TK continues to set the standard in quality parts! Thanks TK!

Firing pin/extractor kit
My Mark II gets Steel Challenge weekend workouts and lots of practice. These upgrades were preventative maintenance. I have run hundreds of rounds since installing the kit and the performance was flawless. Thanks Tandemkross!

2245 Lite Maintenance Kit
I installed both the new firing pin and new extractor. The firing pin install was quick and easy. However, the extractor was a little more effort than shown in the TK video. The original extractor would not fall out, nor did tweezers help, after using the Pistol Pal tool to bottom out the retaining part. I had to use another small object (straightened large paper clip) to push down on the back end of the extractor - with the Pistol Pal tool pushing the retainer in, which caused the front end of the extractor to raise up enough to grab it with my fingers. The installation of the new extractor part was as shown in the video. Overall, very happy with the new parts.
