The Eagle’s Talon Extractor replaces the factory extractor. Over time the factory extractor will wear and eventually will not maintain a secure enough hold on the spent casing as the pistol is cycling. This can cause stove-pipes and failures-to-eject malfunctions. Luckily with this simple to install and affordable upgrade, you can greatly improve the reliability of your firearm!

tx22 extractor
Way better than factory! It eliminated the FTE on 98% of the 22 ammo i have. It was a must upgrade so the handgun would function properly.

Extractor
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is this was not a drop in part it required me doing some fitting to get it in place. The edges were very pointed and not slightly rounded like the factory extractor. There was no moving it into position without slightly rounding the corners.

I have put about 1000 rounds through my TX-22, and began experiencing at least 1 FTE per mag. Frustrating! I decided, for $15 it was worth a try. I installed it fairly easyily, the video helped! And just got back from putting 250 rounds of ARMSCOR (I know, they were cheap) 36 HP ammo throgh the pistol not 1 single FTE so far! This thing works! Don't hesitate, just get it and go have some more fun with that TX-22 of yours!

Zero failures after installing
My TX22 Came from the factory with no extractor. I ordered this rather than the OE part. After installation, I have not had a single failure to eject. Tandemkross's installation video was extremely helpful too.
