The Eagle’s Talon Extractor replaces the factory extractor. Over time the factory extractor will wear and eventually will not maintain a secure enough hold on the spent casing as the pistol is cycling. This can cause stove-pipes and failures-to-eject malfunctions. Luckily with this simple to install and affordable upgrade, you can greatly improve the reliability of your firearm!

Works great!
I bought this extractor as part of many aftermarket additions to make my jam-o-matic TX22 work properly. The extractor helps to do its intended purpose and flicks the shells further than the factory extractor. I don’t get as many stovepipes, that’s for sure. The extractor doesn’t have a noticeably different shape and is no more difficult to install than the factory extractor. I feel that the tip is more angled into the rim perhaos.

Was having trouble with factory extractor on some ammo, after installation it launches any brand 22lr I put in the gun.

eagles talon extractor
Extractor works great and has made my TX22 more reliable. As stated on another review, there was a burr on the part that needed to be sanded down prior to install. I also had to round the corners in order for it to fit. Not very hard to do- but had to be done.

Good Customer Service and Product
When I received this part, the piece was not cut/sanded or filed properly and would not fit in its dedicated slot. When I contacted customer support, they offered me advice on how to fix it myself or they would send another one. Being as I don't have the necessary tools, they sent a replacement and it fixed my ejection problems. The factory ejector claw was sending the casings in every single direction. This one sends them where they should go at 3-4 o' clock.

Works as advertised
Easy as hell to install. Took me less than 5 minutes. Works just as it’s supposed to. I shot about 300 or so rounds through my TX22 and those empty carts go flying out of the chamber.

Eagle Talon Extractor for Taurus tx 22
I bought a Taurus TX 22 Competition and right out of the box I was having 2 to 3 failures per mag running CCI and Federal ammunition. It was extremely frustrating. I figured out that it was failing to extract, that’s when I found Tandemkross. I installed their Eagle Talon Extractor and headed to the range. I am happy to report after 250 rounds of CCI and Federal ammunition I experienced zero failures! It fixed my issue.

Way better than factory! It eliminated the FTE on 98% of the 22 ammo i have. It was a must upgrade so the handgun would function properly.

Extractor
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is this was not a drop in part it required me doing some fitting to get it in place. The edges were very pointed and not slightly rounded like the factory extractor. There was no moving it into position without slightly rounding the corners.
