This Extractor Is a Quality Piece and Changed My Ruger PC9 From a JamaMatic To a Very Reliable Carbine

Posted by James McBride on 28th Aug 2024

After 400-500 Rounds My PC9 Started Jamming(Stove Pipes)2-3 Rounds Per Glock 33 Round Mag. Spent Shell Casings Would Be Laying Anywhere Or Everywhere. Open End Of Casings Would Be Dinked. Now I Have Consistent Extraction. Casings Eject At 4 O'clock 6-8 Feet Away. No Dinks. In Addition To the Extractor I Replaced OEM Parts With Tandemkross Components. Bolt/Extraction Pin Kit, Extended Charging Handle, Buffer, Recoil Spring and Keeper, Trigger, Extended Bolt Lock. My PC9 Rock and Rolls Now. Thank You Tandemkross

Installed this Eagle s Talon Extractor for Ruger® PC Carbine on my Ruger PC 9 and it was flawless. Took it out to the range and the gun was very soft shooting. Got all my shots on target. Glad I made this purchase.

    Talon Extractor

Posted by SSG Sibbald on 12th May 2022

Over time the extractors have almost always been on of the main reasons for mis-feeds and "stovepipe" (Partial) ejections. This extractor is just simple insurance that it will be much longer before that happens. Ejection is pretty much the same as the stock item. It is a bit of a process to get to it... But no harder than a thorough cleaning. The directions are very clear and remind you, as you are preforming the replacement, about things like the trigger pins proclivity to fall out if tilted.

    TK Extractor

Posted by Al on 4th Jul 2021

Was not happy reading about factory extractors acting up with relatively low round counts. Picked this one up over a competitor since I'm becoming a TK fanboy. Watched the video and install was straightforward. Took this time to upgrade pin set as well. Haven't been to range yet but functioned well with snapcaps.
