Removed the existing front and rear sights from the Competition 22! The front sight was straightforward with a bit of loctite. The rear sight dropped right out after loosening the main screw! Next I started the rear sight my hand and tapped all the in with a nylon punch not a lot of pressure at all. Great fitment and valued pricing.Didn't use the two setting screws.

PROS, bright daylight sights, fits well with a little stoning on rear sight, a real plus for old eyes, seems to be well made. CONS, these should be standard on the TX22.

install was easy. for me to he front sight could be lower as I have the rear sight very high to hit poi.

I'll start by saying I am very, very happy with these sights. The factory sights are total garbage and don't hold zero at all. These have plenty of adjustment range for any load, give a good sight picture, aren't heavy enough to affect slide velocity, and install easily and securely due to their excellent mounting design. They are also tall enought to clear most any suppressor. My only negatives are that the front sight is too wide for my taste, I absolutely abhor green fiber optics (especially on a front sight), and that the rear sight blade does have a small amount of slop that can very minimally affect the consistentcy of the sight picture if you are shooting with the sun in front of you. Given that the TX22 is not even close to a target pistol, the issue does not show itself under even the worst conditions. I would love to see this sight set offered with the option for a narrower front post with a red fiber optic element, and no rear fiber optics at all, given that almost no accomplished shooter tends to want anything different than the aforementioned setup (except maybe no fiber on the front or rear). It's worth mentioning that the very tall front sight does make finding a holster nearly impossible. I had to reheat my kydex holster to get it to fit at all, and it is still a bit too tight for my taste even after reshaping. At this time, however, nothing else out there is as versatile or well made, and I have tried deisgn from several companies. The adjustability sets these sights ahead by leaps and bounds.

The rear sight will not fit my Taurus TX 22 Competition. Tried to hammer it in slightly, but stopped short of it going fully in when I realized that hammering it in doesn't make sense. (It only went in slight lightly and knew I had to stop) The rear sight does fit my regular Taurus TX 22, but I can't get the front sight off of that one, because I think I stripped the screw using the wrench they supplied. I don't feel like buying sandpaper and sanding the bottom of the rear sight. When you buy something it should work in the first place without doing anything to it, instead of frustrating the hell out of you, trying to put it on. I gave up on even trying to install the thing, cause I don't have time to play around with getting it to fit.

Very happy with these sites. Easy to install and the price was good. If I to make some changes, I d make the rear site gap a little narrower and all 3 of the colored fiber inserts larger.

Great addition to my TX22. Very simple installation. Vast improvement over stock sights. Height and windage adjustment are a great feature. Great sales & support staff; a pleasure to deal with.

Love these way better than stock, with adjustments

So, my first set had one issue. The fiber optic in the front sight relieved itself of duty. The folks at TK and I fondly referred to this as the "hollow optic" and they made it right ASAP with a replacement. The replacement sights have been champs a really do make a good gun great. Tight 3 to 4 inch groups at 25 yards are no problem once you're dialed in and shaking off that cup of coffee. Supported shooting at 25 yards rendered uncannily tight groups. I would recommend these sights to others and I plan on getting some the TK's Ruger goodies soon as well.
