While cross bolt (push-button) safeties are fairly easy to use, they can still be improved. One crucial flaw with the traditional cross-bolt design is that the only person who can easily, visually confirm the SAFE or FIRE state of the firearm is the user. Another weakness to be improved is that regardless of whether you are left- or right-handed, you have to break your grip at least once when toggling between SAFE or FIRE.
Our ambidextrous safety solves both of these issues with a single upgrade! The Cornerstone’s levers on both sides of the firearm visibly show a clear difference between SAFE and FIRE to the user and those standing nearby. You can also switch between SAFE and FIRE while maintaining a firm grip on the firearm with your shooting hand!
A toggle-style safety selector also reduces the possibility of an accidental button push. Resting your firearm on an uneven surface or something else bumping the housing could potentially switch a cross bolt safety from the intended SAFE or FIRE position to its unintended opposite. A rotary safety helps ensure a change in the firearm’s state must be intentional and helps to make it safer.

Rotary Safety
Excellent quality and function, this single upgrade was one of the best one's yet! Make it much easier to put the gun on safe and mimics the operation of an AR15.

I really like like this addition to my Ruger, it works better than what was factory installed for sure. Mostly because I don t have to guess if the safety was engaged before prior to pulling the trigger. Now I can feel the selector switch if it on safe or not. The one thing I find disingenuous about the presentation of the product though is that in the install video does not show you what you have to do extra to clean or break down the receiver. You can t remove or replace the bolt and trigger housing to clean it without having the extra step of removing and replacing the selector levers on the switch itself. For that alone you all get a four star instead of a five star.

Excellent Upgrade
The Tandemkross rotary safety set for the Ruger PC Carbine is a terrific upgrade over the OEM push button safety. Just one flick of the finger and the weapon is safe or ready to fire.

Great Products, Better Support
Cannot recommend Tandemkross products enough. Their products greatly improved my enjoyment of the Ruger 10/22, so much so that I ordered a few upgrades for my new PC Carbine. 4 of 5 went in without issue thanks to their how-to videos on YouTube, but I botched the safety install, which damaged the safety detent spring to the point of no return. I called them up, and they shipped out 2 replacement springs and plungers, which was unable to find available anywhere else. Safety install went off without a hitch on the 10/22. Great product, even better customer support!

Ruger PCC Rotary Safety
The install was a little tricky, but help from a video and I was able to get the new drum installed. I love the position of the lever and it brings a whole new feel to the rifle. I do wish they would have an optional cap for one side to just run the safety in one side or the other not both. I can see the possibility of snagging issues while having rifle slung.
