Solid Grip Assistant
Initially, felt the benefits (and price) of the Cornerstone wasn't for me. However, after shooting my 22\45 Lite, discovered that my natural hand placement became my right hand shooting thumb resting on the small Ruger's "Safety Off" ledge. This grip gave me better stability and steadiness in holding my POI. Decided to try the TK Cornerstone safety thumb ledge...easy and quick install...safety functions exactly like the OEM. Discovered I have even more POI steadiness with the larger Cornerstone Thumb Shelf...Nice! I have the Black Anodized Cornerstone...looks great and blends well with the contrasting Red Anodized 22\45 Lite receiver and Red Anodized TK Victory trigger!!

wow, received my package from TK, 2 day's early. great service. took me about 30 minutes or so to install my new "Cornerstone" safety thumb ledge, onto my Ruger mkiv, 22/45 lite. upon opening the package i was amazed at just how big this safety paddle was, in comparison to the photo's on the TK website. it seems to be a slightly bit smaller than my ruger thumb rest, made by Striplin. this new safety paddle far exceeded my expectation's 100%. as usual, when dealing with TK, i have almost completed my build up of this Ruger pistol. next and last on my list, the TK combo, of the titanium firestarter firing pin, and eagles talon extractor. thank you to the TK crew, great job and service.

Would buy this all day
I don't have this part. I don't have a MKIV 22/45. But I handled this piece at the TandemKross table at the Arkansas State Rimfire Challenge this past weekend, and it is a marvelous addition. Puts your grip right where it needs to be. I'm just hoping they come out with something similar for the target frame MKIV in the future, as I'd have this as soon as it hit the market. Looks great, functions great. I evidently am a fan seeing as I'm 5 star reviewing a piece for a pistol I don't even own.

Just So-So
This works as advertised. It is an easy-to-use thumb safety, and a place to rest your thumb as well. The issue is with the squared edge on the back side. It is uncomfortable for my fat thumb. If the rest was angled lower in the rear, or had rounded corners, I think it would be nicer to use.

Installation was easy. Took all of 5 minutes if that. Used this for a shoot today and I like it! This ledge for my shooting thumb along with the Ruger® MKIV 22/45 Thumb Rest by Striplin Custom Guns for my off hand thumb gives me consistent placement for both hands. I have most (if not all) TK upgrades on my MK IV 22/45 and once again this is another great product of theirs that works. Recommended.
