California AB-1263 Updates

Updates Regarding California Law AB-1263

Thank you for your continued support of TANDEMKROSS. We are here to do everything we can to meet your needs and keep you informed.

As of Thursday, January 1, 2026, California law, AB-1263, has gone into effect directly impacting the sales and distribution of firearms and “firearms related products.” Any “firearm industry member” wishing to sell or distribute firearms or firearms parts or accessories into California must ensure the purchaser is above the age of 18 years old, is aware of and has seen the California Manufacturing Notice as defined in AB-1263, provides proof of residence and age with a government-issued photo ID with an address matching the shipping address for the order.

For packages sent to California, the original purchaser must be the one to receive and sign for the package. The purchaser must also present a government-issued photo ID at the time of delivery to again prove they are an adult who lives at the address on the package.

As of Wednesday, December 31, 2025, we are presently unable to generate the proper shipping labels necessary to comply with these requirements due to a technical issue and are unfortunately forced to temporarily pause the shipment of orders to California.

Our team is working diligently to resolve this issue and resume shipments as soon as possible. In the meantime, we recommend checking in with any of our authorized dealers who may still have items available for California residents.

We will update this page with any new developments including announcing when California shipments are permitted to resume.

Thank you for your patience and support. For more information about this legislation, you can access it here.
