Just in case
The very first time I took my Ruger PC apart to clean, two things quickly happened. First was the OEM Bolt Release Pin fell out, along with the OEM bolt keep, and spring went flying. Luckily I found both, but while I haven't used these yet, having them on hand is like insurance the pin will never fall out again. The second thing that happened was the pins that hold the trigger assembly in, also just fell out, so I ordered the [TK] spring loaded one, installed them, and kept the OEMs as spare.

I had no idea how short the original pins were until I cleaned my weapon. Thanks for giving me the peace of mind knowing my system is working well...

Bolt release pin
If I had this upgrade at the time, I wouldn't' have lost the tiny spring [ that is part of the trigger housing group] when the original pin, bolt stop, and spring fell out. And no one makes this tiny spring. I am currently at the end of week one waiting for Ruger to send a replacement spring

Bolt Release pin
This is definitely a must have upgrade to a fine Carbine. Much more secure then the Factory Pin. It is about .0015 bigger in Dia. Does the trick.

Bolt release pin
After the pin for the bolt release dropped out EVERY time I took the carbine apart for cleaning , I searched for a solution . These pins are .002-.003 larger than the original . Tried all three , one worked much better than the original . Have spares for friends if necessary . Bolt release works as designed , and the pin "stays in place" now , like it should .

replacemint pins
I ordered the replacement pins for the bolt release and the upgraded receiver pins for my P.C.9. They came in today and I installed them right away. I measured the replacement pins for the bolt release and they checked out at about .002 larger than the original pin. This small amount seemed to really improve the fit a great deal. I am satisfied with these items and would recommend them to anyone with a Ruger P.C.9
