Awesome upgrade!
This upgrade takes the Ruger Mark IV to an entirely new level! Note, I already had the victory trigger so adding this resulted in the ultimate trigger upgrade kit. Stock Ruger trigger assemblies are adequate for plinking, beginners, or basic home defense, but not much beyond that. Changing out the sear, hammer, magazine disconnect, and trigger seriously dropped my trigger pull to what feels like sub 2 lbs! Far better than expected, to be honest. And with the pre and post travel adjusted, hand and wrist movement between shots is minimized, further increasing accuracy. Just amazing. The blast shield magazine disconnect alone makes a huge difference; you can feel how much easier it is to insert, seat, and remove the mags. With the upper receiver removed, you can see how the internals seem to line-up better with the feed ramp, and I've heard this improves the occasional FTF situation. Sure, you lose the magazine disconnect safety feature - which some will feel is actually a benefit and not a liability - but for me the improved performance is worth the trade-off of a little extra caution between mags and during handling or cleaning. Installation: if you're new to disassembling the lower as I was, watch the various installation videos available out there, read the instructions a few times, and then have fun getting to know your firearm while installing this game-changing upgrade. Finishing this is a confidence builder! I had some questions and the team at TK knocked it out of the park in terms of customer service and response. Honestly, what more can you ask for?! Definitely worth the money because again, it took my Mark IV to an entirely new level! Thanks TK for another awesome product!

It works
I installed this kit and measured my trigger pull after installation using a Wheeler 309888 Trigger Pull Scale. When I measure at the absolute lowest point on the trigger I get a 2# pull. Half way up the trigger I get 2.5#. I d say this kit does work as advertised and am very satisfied.

"Blast Pack" for Ruger MK IV
I purchased this kit for my Ruger MK IV 70th Anniversary model as I wanted to improve the trigger pull but did not want to change the look of the pistol with an aftermarket trigger. The installation instructions were great and the result even better. Excellent quality at a very good price.
