    The disconnect that didn't work properly I had to grind it so it would fit

    the magazine disconnect did not fit in my pistol it was too fat so I had to take my Dremel tool and shave it down and a small file to make it thinner so that it would fit into my 22/45 lite it seems to work but I don't understand why I had to grind on it did you guys send me the wrong one or what but I did make it work but I don't know if it's going to cuz I had to fill it out if it's going to make it wear out faster whatever I don't know if you think I should replace it then send me the right one thank you from the commander of dead on professionals

    Everything i get from Tandemkross is always well made! Had to have it because everything else in my MK IV is from Tandemkross, so why not, I know it will be durable and helps with the dirty ammo i use for plinking. Easy to install an looks good too!

    Shoulda came factory

    Bought a new Mark 4 and took it to the range, had issues using mark 3 magazines and didn't like the trigger. Bought this and cured both problems. Pretty easy install and great results!

    I installed this BlastShield in a Mark IV Tactical, and it made a nice difference in the trigger feel in addition to eliminating the magazine 'safety'. One thing I wish the instructions would have mentioned was that once the grips are removed from a Mark IV (at least mine) the sear pin is so loose that it'll fall out with even a slight inclination from vertical while holding the pistol. MY recommendation to those whose Mark IV's are the same way would be to put a small piece of tape over each side so the sear pin can't just fall out....complicating the installation process a bunch! It's still a great product at a great price ;^D

    Straightforward and easy install. I have a VQ trigger and disconnector and OEM hammer and sear in a MKIV stainless frame. After 1000+ rounds without problems I thinks its safe to conclude the Blast shield works effectively. I hope TK will offer a new design that will work with the VQ hammer.
