The TANDEMKROSS Accelerator Thumb Ledge for Pistols is a simple, effective, and affordable way to better control the recoil of your favorite pistol and get multiple, faster shots on target. This popular upgrade is available in a right-handed or left-handed configuration! When selecting your Accelerator Thumb Ledge, right-handed or left-handed is in reference to your hand dominance. Left-handed shooters should choose the left-handed option and right-handed shooters should choose the right-handed option.
Thumb rests, thumb ledges, or “gas pedals” are a very common and popular way to gain an additional point of contact on your pistol. This helps to support a firmer grip, encourage proper hand placement, and gain more control over recoil and muzzle rise.
Thanks to TANDEMKROSS’s Accelerator, any pistol owner with a 1913 picatinny rail under their barrel can now have a forward thumb ledge with just the twist of a single screw! Not only is the Accelerator lightweight, but it’s also highly durable!
Many thumb rests are uniquely designed to fit only one specific firearm. The TANDEMKROSS Accelerator fastens directly to standard under-barrel picatinny or Weaver rails to make this must-have accessory practically universal!
Get an Accelerator Thumb Ledge to improve the ergonomics and increase the control of your favorite competition or recreation pistol TODAY!

Thumb Ledge
I must admit I m becoming a big fan of the thumb ledge. Gives me a good comfortable place to rest my thumb and gives me more stability and control of the gun. I only wish there was a way to include a rail onto the thumb ledge so I could also mount a light/laser. Tandemkross - I ll gladly accept royalties for the idea.

Thumb Ledge and Halo
Excellent product! I wish that all my guns were equipped with a lower rail. The Halo for my Ruger Mark IV was a god sent.

Nice Option for smaller hands
I have smaller hands so i constantly struggle with finding traction on handguns. This device assists with another great concern, which is bad geometry for the support thumb. Although i would prefer more variety in sizes available, I was able to make this work with about 1/2 of my collection via picatinny rail. Overall, it serves it's purpose but could use to rest higher up on the firearm because it inhibits opposite hand shooting. The whole mechanism needs to be up about the thickness of the arm (5mm) to allow opposite hand shooting.
