i’m finishing up my Ruger 22/45 build and thought this would be a nice upgrade. I would highly suggest getting this thumb ledge along with the safety ledge for your pistol. This takes it to a high level of control for your pistol. It belongs on your pistol.

Accelerator Forward Thumb Ledge
A fellow shooter let me try his Ruger MK IV 22 45 with the Accelerator Forward Thumb Ledge. I liked it so much I ordered one for my Ruger MK IV 22 45. It gives you a feeling of added stability and confidence in your ability to hit what you’re aiming at and my groupings improved. I will be shooting steel challenge with this pistol, I feel the addition of the accelerator forward thumb rest will help with the transition between the targets and lead to improved scores.

Good shooting aid
Great aid for your gun grip. Made my grip more comfortable and steadied it further, IMO. Watch the video at least once to get familiar with the install. Note: Install Video is below Thumb Ledge Website description on TK's Website. The Video Title is a little misleading as it says: " Muzzle Rise " with small print at the top that starts " Install & OV ...." and is cutoff. The install is further along in the video. TK's other video for their " Titan Extended Magazine Release for Ruger Mark IV 22/45 " Does state: "Install Instructions" (with a red banner in the title).

Accelerator Thumb Ledge
Another quality TK product ! Was a bit wary of the size of the thumb ledge as it looked a little large but I figured I could easily trim it to my taste. But after having installed the Accelerator it feels fantastic. Now I really wish I could checker the front of the trigger guard!!?? One note: I have a Victory trigger that I had adjusted for pre-travel. I found I had to readjust the pre-travel screw after the Accelerator installation; only about 1/8 of a turn as the trigger wasn’t resetting reliably. Otherwise, I love the fit/feel and it gives me a rock solid grip! Very highly recommend it and it’s well worth the price!
