When shooting round steel targets it is advantageous to have a round rear sight. The circular plate fills the arc of the sight to make for easy target acquisition.

*This will accommodate the WFS Rear Sight with the U-shaped fiber optic:
*NOTE* This part works by backing out the windage adjustment screw, removing the rear fiber optic and replacing the piece with the “EagleEye” Peep Sight.
This part will only accommodate Williams Fire Sights with a removable elevation control and U-shaped rear fiber optic.

A Sweet Upgrade
Assuming you have upgraded your sights to Williams Fire Sights, this upgrade is very easy to install. It's simply a matter of removing the rear sight blade from the rear sight housing and replacing it with the ring. For me, I noticed an immediate improvement (reduction in total time) in my competition pistol shooting. Precision isn't as important as speed in my competition of choice so this upgrade has worked out very well for me. Nice matte black finish on the ring so no problems with glare in even the most challenging sun conditions. Pair this rear sight with a fiber optic front sight for best results.

Easy install
Easy install. Count clicks removing windage screw and peep will be zeroed if you screw it back in same # of clicks. Fits Ruger Single 10 factory sight too. A smaller aperture insert would be an interesting addition to this product. Using FO like a dot sight worked best on first trip to range. Will I prefer an aperture on a handgun? Don't know yet, but will have fun finding out.
